The Lounge is a casual corner of Club Zeedub where I talk about things in my life that have absolutely nothing to do with writing. From music to photography, I always have something brewing in the creative coffers.

Why not talk about these things in the author newsletter?

If you sign up to hear from a baker and all they talk about is camping, then it wholly defeats the purpose of subscribing. This is why I created The Lounge, a supplemental place for readers to learn more about me outside of publishing.

Why can’t you just talk about writing?

I have for many years, but then something weird happened: I reached a stopping point. All of my series had come to a rest. Every character had reached a destination. Could I write more? Sure! But I didn’t have to. Suddenly, I had nothing to say.

Does this mean you are done writing?

Definitely not, but after a decade of nonstop publishing, I finally had an opportunity to catch my breath. I have many other creative interests that I would like to explore and I don’t want to bore readers with filler, hence The Lounge.

So the author newsletter is still active?

Yup! But now it’s less frequent as I await news that is worth reporting. In the meantime, The Lounge is free to join and you can unsubcribe at any time. I respect your inbox and will only visit when I have something fun to share.
