BOOKSTORE
Did you know that you can purchase eBooks directly from me? Break free of Big Tech and visit my official online bookstore, where you can find digital copies of my entire library. Every title is DRM-free (yours forever) and delivered via BookFunnel.
FAQs
Can I read the eBooks on my preferred device?
Yes! All eBooks are delivered in the standard ePub format. (There are also legacy files available for old Kindles.)
Can I read the eBooks online?
Yes! Every purchase comes with the ability to read online via a web browser without the need for an eReader.
What does DRM-free mean?
DRM, or Digital Rights Management, is a method of restricting a reader’s access to the content they purchase. For example, if you purchase a title with DRM through Amazon, then you can only read it on a Kindle device. This creates a lot of headaches for readers who use multiple devices or want to transfer their libraries elsewhere.
The solution is to remove DRM from eBooks, which I have done for my online bookstore. The copies you purchase are yours forever without restriction. The only thing I add is an invisible watermark of the transaction record to protect my copyrights.
What are the purchase and delivery platforms?
Purchases are handled via Lemon Squeezy and deliveries are handled through BookFunnel. The entire transaction is fully integrated. Deliveries are sent automatically after purchase.
Lemon Squeezy is a merchant platform similar to PayPal. It’s very popular with indie creators due to its optimization for e-products.
BookFunnel is a digital delivery service that functions like a retailer. It allows authors to distribute books as an independent outlet.
Why are you charging for books that are free on major outlets?
This is for readers who wish to support independent creators. For some, enjoying a free book feels like an incomplete transaction. They would like to support the author directly. Now they can purchase their own digital copy, one that is wholly unbound to any retailer.
Making books free on major retailers (especially the first in a series) is a common marketing strategy for indie authors. It allows a reader to try a book without committment, and it boosts the author’s discoverability in a crowded marketplace.
Why is this such a big deal for authors?
Major retailers, especially Amazon, are notoriously hostile towards authors. There are countless horror stories, but it was largely our burden to deal with.
But now they are screwing readers by stealing back the digital products they paid for. In early 2025, Amazon quietly stopped allowing Kindle readers to download copies of their books. This is happening in other industries as well. Studios are writing off shows and movies for tax credits that customers have already paid for, which vanish from their libraries.
This has been a major turning point. Creators and consumers are pushing back against the enshittifcation of Big Tech, and one of the best ways is to offer direct sales. The copies you buy are yours forever. They are entirely detached from the tendrils of corporate greed.
